"I would like to think that I can write songs where the melody would stick in peoples' heads for more than a few minutes..."
Growing up in Southern Maryland there was little to do - especially in the music scene. I started out listening to music on radio and vinyl - then moved onto foreign broadcasts to hear stations like the BBC and Radio Netherlands. I used to think - I need to be there - it sounds like a cool place - get me out of here! Purchased tape recorders early on and then went to record at Cue Recording Studios in Falls Church, VA. Realized I would never be able to afford all the studio time necessary for polished songs I started investing in studio equipment. The gear and home studios progressed and now SKYVIEW is the place where I work with other musicians.

Bands came and went - never lasting for more than a couple of years. Performed 70's/80's/90's rock and even some country in between. I got serious about writing songs - mainly about relationships and then about perspectives and events from what I saw in my travels - especially in Europe.

Would like to think I can write songs where the melody would stick in peoples’ heads for more than a few minutes and hopefully they could relate to what I was saying. And then, maybe some might like the song enough to remember it. Writing and recording music - that's still the goal.
